Who I am?
I’ve always loved deep conversations and been a good listener, drawn to adventure and the unknown. Growing up, I was quiet, friendly, adaptable, and often just did what was expected of me, constantly worrying about what others thought. But during my travels, far from the familiar, I found the freedom to break out of my usual reality and embrace a different version of myself. I became an adventurer, open to risks, living fully, and savoring life.
In 2022, I set off on a world trip with my long-time partner, and my life changed completely. I never returned home; I left my life in Switzerland behind and now live in paradise – Itacaré, Bahia, Brazil. If someone had told me this three years ago, I wouldn’t have believed them, even though the dream of leaving had been with me for so long. I just never dared to take the leap.
This is where yoga came in. Through yoga, I learned to be myself, being connected to nature and myself and being part of something bigger. I have realized it’s not about the ego or perfecting the poses. Yoga is a way of life – a journey of forgiveness, mindfulness, presence and love. It’s about letting go of the past and trusting in the future and yourself.
